Yoga
Learn the positive benefits of Yoga for a balanced lifestyle.
Attend a 15 minute Yoga session followed by a 15 minute Q & A about Yoga.
Learn about:
Flow Yoga -- A focus on building strength, stamina, focus, and flexibility. Often called Vinyasa, this style flows from pose to pose coordinating breath with movement. A well-balanced practice combining hard work with deep relaxation and spiritual reflection.
Energy Yoga - A delicious practice blending physical yoga styles to create grounding, relaxation and awareness of your true nature. It's exercise and spirituality. Classes include meditation, breath practice, visualization and spiritual readings.
Nurturing – Gentle and appropriate for all who want a practice intended to heal, relax and balance the body.
Kriya Yoga - The Kriya hatha practice is geared towards the student becoming more familiar with their inner mind and not just their body. Because it is an evening class, it is paced differently to allow a smooth transition into the lunar world that often eludes the conscious mind. The class finishes with pranayama and a brief meditation.
Qigong/Taiji - Traditional Chinese breathing and movement exercises. Taiji is understood to be the highest conceivable principle of how existence flows.

The AHA of Happiness
Happiness is not a goal. It's not a place. It's impossible to look for it, and it can't be found. When you get the big house, the fancy car, the cosmetic surgery procedure, or insert-happiness-goal-here________, you might be happy for a while, but we can already tell you it won't last. A lot of people look for happiness in all the wrong places. How can you experience happiness that lasts? There is actually now a science of happiness. We’ll present the basics of happiness in plain language. You’ll
learn:
How to move your happiness from a fleeting temporary moment to a lasting sustainable personality trait.
What the happiness treadmill is and how to get off.
Specific activities and tips based on science to help yourself and others experience intentional, sustainable happiness.
You’ll have a chance to ask a happiness expert your questions on happiness and your “happiness challenges.” Who couldn’t use a little more happiness in their lives? Come for a smile and leave a little happier!
